Hi I’m Kate, the owner and the designer behind Kate's Design Cottage, I created this space for people with a similar design style to mine. While working as an architect, I noticed a significant gap in the market for interior designers in Denmark. This left clients with a beautiful home on the exterior, but an empty white box inside. When they asked for help, we had no interior designers to recommend. On the other hand, in England, there are so many interior designers that it can be overwhelming to choose the right one. So I created Kate's Design Cottage as a solution to both problems – a single style that caters to clients looking for a cozy, classic, and countryside charm filled home inside and outside. At Kate's Design Cottage, we believe that your home is where the heart is, and you deserve a space that truely feels like your home.

A Little About Myself
I'm 25 years old with a bachelors degree as a building constructor/architect from Denmark. Before studying in Denmark, I lived in England for a year and fell in love with English architecture and the countryside aesthetic. Now, it's my personal style for designing homes. When I'm not designing, I enjoy sewing, baking, and gardening. Although my cakes aren't always edible, and my vegetables often die before I can pick them, I still love it.
